Sabrina Seymore Events is seeking a highly driven and ambitious Part time Event Planner and Executive Assistant.

Part time event planner

1. Communicates with patrons, vendors, and participants
2. Assist with the execution of event timelines.
3. Ensures that all room and event setups are completed
4. Provides ceremony coordination and reception coordination.
5. Attends any scheduled meetings and training sessions.
6. Must be available on the weekend for rehearsal and day of the wedding. Up to 12 hour shifts
7. Must be able to lift 30 pounds
8. Required to work between 8-12 weddings

Educational Qualifications and Experience:

1. The minimum of proven (references, portfolio) experience is 2 years

Knowledge and Skills:

1) Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and exceptional typing skills.
2) The ability to remain discrete is important, as confidential material often passes through his/her hands.
3) Interpersonal skills are important, as interaction with a wide variety of people either in person, over the phone or via email.
4) A professional attitude and superior organizational and time management skills, with the ability to complete tasks within a deadline.
5) Excellent language and grammar skills.

Executive Assistant

Job description:

1) Managing the individual’s calendar, scheduling appointments and meetings.
2) Interacting and meeting with a variety of people.
3) Making travel and hotel arrangements.
4) Taking dictation and typing correspondence and reports.
5) Screening phone calls, letters and emails.
6) Maintaining a filing system and keeping necessary documents readily accessible when required.
7) Running personal and business errands.
8) Anticipating what the ‘boss’ will need and planning ahead for it.
9)Processing payments, confirming contracts, collecting timesheets, processing payroll and monthly book keeping.

Knowledge and Skills:
